Alfa Romeo GTV (916)Photography coming soon
The last true Alfa Romeo coupe. The GTV's Pininfarina-refined design and Busso V6 engine represented everything that made Alfa special before the Fiat era diluted the brand.
History
The GTV 916 was controversial for being front-wheel drive, but the Busso 3.0 V6 made up for it. That engine, with its mechanical throttle bodies and distinctive induction roar, is considered one of the greatest production engines ever built. When production ended in 2005, so did an era of Alfa Romeo character.
