A retro-modern tribute to the 1956 BMW 507. Henrik Fisker's masterpiece — the same S62 V8 as the M5 E39, in a hand-built aluminum roadster.

History

Designed by Henrik Fisker, the Z8 was a modern reinterpretation of the legendary 507 roadster. It shared the M5 E39's S62 V8 and was built almost entirely of aluminum. James Bond drove one in The World Is Not Enough (1999), though it was famously sawn in half.
